L’infinito volgere del tempo

The synthesis of Zoli’s entire oeuvre is encapsulated in this sculpture of perfect balance, in which a horse seems to dance carefree on the threads of a circle.
We find there the conception of the circularity of time, in which everything sweeps and everything returns, in a constant repetition of events.
Between the horse’s feet, a golden scorpion reminds us of the torment but also of the transformative power of the earth from which we come and to which we all return.
